Harcourt Valley Eco Retreat is located at the foothills of the picturesque Mount Alexander, nestled in a beautiful native environment surrounded by impressive granite outcrops and established gum trees. Set on 60 acres and having the house to yourself you can spend time exploring or riding your mountain bike on the newly opened La Larr Ba Gauwa trails in the oak forest only 3km away. The property is in a quiet and secluded setting, but close to award winning wineries including Blackjack and Bress, as well as being only 7km from the historic city of Castlemaine.

The house itself is large and luxurious, boasting three queen size bedrooms, two bathrooms, and spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas opening onto three outdoor decks all with stunning views across the valley, as far as Mount Tarrengower.
Enjoy the comfort of a wood fireplace (wood provided), and expansive double glazed windows, allowing incredible views from within the warm and cozy home. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern features: oven, stove, dishwasher and full size fridge, with butlers pantry and all crockery and utensils provided.

There is a games room downstairs with additional couch, pool table, and mini bar, as well as additional separate toilet. The large double garage provides space for two cars and additional bikes.

Please be mindful that the property is on tank water only, so every measure must be made not to waste water. As such we ask that you take short showers and do not use the spa bath.

Extra single beds can be made available upon request for large groups. Please note that the price is based on 1 couple using 1 bed, in the event that more beds are required please notify upon booking as additional charges apply. Additional beds may not be made on arrival. There is a minimum two night stay.

Please note the property does not accept payments with American Express credit cards. There is a 1.8% charge when you pay with a MasterCard or Visa credit card.

The property offers free parking with a double lockable garage and additional parking located within the property grounds.

Please note that the property does not have a reception. A confirmation email will be sent from Castlemaine Property Group.
Keys are to be collected from the Castlemaine Property Group office located at 56 Mostyn Street, Castlemaine during office hours or from the key safe on the property if arranged prior.

Office hours are:
Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00
Saturday - 08:30 to 14:30

Please inform our office of your expected arrival time. If you expect to arrive outside these hours, please inform Castlemaine Property Group in advance.
If you have made a last minute booking please contact us directly, contact details provided in your confirmation.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire house and surrounding yard during their stay.
